Radio Frequency knows no boundaries. Although FM line in sight
medium, still they can be received far from hundred miles under good
conditions. I am interested in FM Dxing. I logged these stations from

More AIR Radio Stations In Tripura Soon!

All India Radio (AIR) to start more Radio Stations in Tripura soon.
Tripura will get 1kW MW Tx at Dharmangar, 5kW FM Tr at Longtherai, 1kW
FM Tr at Nutun Bazar and Udaipur. Several 100W LPT FM Relay Stations
at Amarpur, Chaumanu, Damchhara, Gandachhara, Sakhan, Subroom,
Teliamura, Vangmun, Kanchanpur, Kheddachhara, Khowai, Silachari also
approved.

Tripura has 20kW MW Station (1269 KHz),10kW FM (101.6 MHz) at
Agartala, 6kW each FM Stations at Kailasahar (103.2 MHz) and Belonia
(103.7 MHz).

India Govt To Give Free Mobiles To MGNREGA Workers!

As a pre-election Gift, one member of every rural households who has
completed 100 days under MGNREGA, may get Free Mobile under 'Bharat
Mobile Scheme'.

These handsets will have 3 years warranty and customized for govt
Direct Benefit Transfer Schemes. Govt officials added that the scheme
is under discussion and yet to be finalized.

The distribution would be done by the selected service providers in
co-ordination with district administration.

9XM which was removed in 1st July, 2013.

They again added 9XM removing DD India Taday, 31st July, 2013. Its
quite strange that they removed DD India, a Govt. owned channel!
