Samsung officially announced its new Dual SIM, entry level smartphone
dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Star Duos (GT-S5282) at Rs. 5,240 but its
already available at a street price of Rs. 4,990.
Samsung Galaxy Star Duos is powered by single core 1 GHz Cortex A5
Processor with 512 MB of RAM and it runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS.
It sports 3 inch QVGA Display with 240x320 px resolution, 2MP rear
camera, 4GB of Internal Storage and upto 32GB External Storage. It has
connectivity options like GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth, WiFi but no 3G

AOC Launches New Cheap LED TV Under Rs. 10K!

Taiwanese company AOC has launched its latest HDTV in its LED range
called the LE19A1331/61. The 19 inch LED TV is available in the Indian
market at Rs. 9,990/-

The LE19A1331/61 sports a 19 inch HD Display that supports resolution
of 1366x768 pixels with 16:9 aspect ratio. Other features included in
the TV are two 5W Speakers that support surround sound, Backlit
control, Auto-Volume adjuster and connectivity options like USB and
HDMI that support upto 28 video formats and PC Input.

The closest competitor to the LE19A1331/61 is the Toshiba 19PA200
LED, which is also priced at the sub-Rs. 10,000.

LG To Offer Cheap LEDs Under Rs 10K!

LG, the world's second biggest makers of TVs, said that India will be
manufacturing base for its globally cheapest LED TVs and these would
be priced under Rs 10,000. The company sees high potential for low
cost LEDs in emerging markets including India. The product is being
developed in R&D centres in Korea as well as India.

India is traditionally a CRT and market and is moving rapidly towards
slimmer LCD/ LED TVs.

Currently, Toshiba offers LED TVs under Rs 10,000. While LG sells it
for Rs. 12,500 and Samsung sells at Rs. 13,500.

Nokia Asha 501 Launched In India.

Nokia unveiled a new mid-range phone, Nokia Asha 501. Its design is
inspired by Lumina series and comes with Single SIM or Dual SIM
options. Asha 501 is priced at Rs. 5,360 excluding taxes.

The phone will compete with Samsung's REX series and cheap Android
phone. It comes with 3 inch capacitive touch screen and 3.2MP Camera.
Nokia Asha 501 purports 2G networks only but a 3G version also
underway.

Card. Nokia claims that the battery is good enough to provide talktime
